Servicing the diverse needs of Queensland and interstate industries since 1999, FEC has now become one of the most respected engineering consultants providing timely solutions to a range of diverse problems from energy, refineries and chemical plants thru to product development.

FEC began life as a small single man engineering consultancy started by Dr Robert Frith, originally trading under the name ‘Frith and Associates’. From the start Frith and Associates grew a reputation for ‘getting the job done’. This principle has remained with the company ever since.

In June 2004, it became apparent that our services were well received and the decision was made to incorporate. The opportunity was taken to change the name in order to highlight more clearly that engineering is the consultancy. The present name evolved. Over the past 3 years, the company has grown to its present 5 professional engineering staff. This growth is a reflection of our clients’ confidence but also of Rob’s desire to ensure that the company expertise is not lost with his possible future reduced involvement.
